Review received by customer service email on October 4, 2012: I just wanted to express my thanks after receiving my mcat score yesterday. It was my first time taking the test and I scored a 38S (13PS/13VR/12BS). I only used Examkrackers material. I purchased the complete study package and followed the schedule posted on your website for independent students. After completing the schedule, I purchased all the EK 1001 books and the Verbal 101 book. I did close to half of the 1001 questions. I started with a 8 in verbal and scored a 13 on the real thing. I did purchase 3 AAMC exams but other than that, it was soley EK whictaught me everything. I'm in my 4th year of school so it had been a long time since I had originally learned those subjects. I loved how the books were brief when they needed to be (the bio was perfect!) but detailed on the harder topics. I also loved how they were split up so I only need to take what I wanted with me for the day. I listened to the EK audio osmosis several times. Once, listening intensely and the rest of the time, on the bus or out running or where ever! I enjoyed the jokes which kept the material light hearted. I actually retold the mushroom in a bar one a few times! Additionally, I also appreciated the forum because every time I had a question, I would be able to find the same question there. Anyways, sorry for the long message but I just really wanted to say thank you and give EK the credit they deserve. I am extremely confident in my score and excited that I know I can get into the school I want. -Christina T.

I had purchased it quite a while ago and still decided to utilize Kaplans books, simply because that seemed like the norm. Having prepared for the exam using those books I did not perform as well as I expected. Therefore I decided to give your product a try, and long behold my score increased by 7 points! Review received by customer service email on August 22, 2011: I just wanted to let you know that after using Exam Krackers I improved my MCAT score from a 31 to a 40, inlcuding increasing my physical sciences score from a 9 to a 14. Before my first MCAT I took a Kaplan MCAT course. Their strategies did not work for me at all and their study materials were often too dense and convoluted. Exam Krackers materials, by contrast, were extremely efficient and gave me just the information I needed to ace the test. I will not let any of friends ever use Kaplan again while Exam Krackers is still around. Thank you. -Daniel K.

I am a nontraditional medical school applicant (I will be turning 33 this August) looking at a career change to medicine. When I started this whole process, I knew it would be very hard for me to attend live review classes because of my full time job (high school and junior college teacher) which altogether results in 60-80 hours a week during the school year. After purchasing your study materials, I looked carefully at your home study plan and followed it for several months as I prepared for the exam (from January 2011 to May 2011). I took the MCAT on May 21, 2011, and despite the very limited amount of time available for me to study, scored a 39T. Obviously a great deal of study was required on my part, but I truly feel that your materials helped me organize my study time and direct my efforts most efficiently, particularly for a student such as myself with very, very limited amounts of time available. Your suggestions for strategy on the verbal section were especially helpful (I scored a 14 on the VR section). Audio Osmosis was also of great assistance for the science material. I am hoping (perhaps against hope) that perhaps this message can get through to Jordan and Jon. I switched the Examkrackers (home study) this year, and I just found out that I raised my MCAT score 9 points. Thank you so much. I'm glad you guys go over only what is needed and none of that extra stuff that the other companies try to teach. Also your books are thin and colorful which I'm much more likely to pick up and read rather than the huge, newspaper looking things that the other companies have. Anyways keep doing what your doing. Review received by customer service email on June 20, 2009: I wanted to take the time to complement you on the amazing MCAT prep course that you have put together. I am currently entering the 2nd year of a Master of Public Health degree at Columbia University, and am applying for admission to medical school for Fall 2010. It had been a few years since I had looked over the material from the science courses I had taken as an undergraduate, and for the most part, when I started preparing in January of 2009 I had to relearn most of the material. With only 5 months to prepare for the May 2nd test date, I was incredibly apprehensive about how much to study, what to study, and even how to study. I started using Kaplan's materials for the first 2 months, but became disenchanted by the apparent disconnect between the difficulty of their content and what was likely to actually be tested on the MCAT. Whereas Kaplan markets itself as having the ability to make you proficient in all the hardest concepts, in many ways it overlooks the simplicity of what is being tested. I switched exclusively to Examkrackers books and audio material in early February and noticed an immediate difference in my performance on both the practice tests and my comprehension of the material. Where other courses fell short, Examkrackers really distinguished itself by focusing on the relevant material and testing its comprehension and application in a very effective manner. Basically after not opening a Biology, Orgo, Physics, or Chemistry book in 3+ years, I was able to achieve a score of 33S on the actual MCAT on my first try. While not amazing, it is still more than I expected from just 3 months of studying, and I could not have done it without the help of this material. I can honestly say after attempting to use everything from Kaplan to Princeton Review products, you are by far the best MCAT prep course on the market. You guys are fantastic. Everytime I took a practice test my score went up from around 30 to about 35 on my last one. I kept studying and eventually hit 37 on my actual test. I write this because I want to say that I am positive I could not have done this without your books. They are AMAZING and tell you exactly what you need to know. I am going to give my books to the library so that other people can benefit from your product. PS I think you should also have some writing sample books. --Neil B.
